Dear Potential Family-
I know you are out there and we are going to meet soon. But, before I come to live with you, I wanted to tell you a few things about me.
I am loyal. I will always want to be with you, laying at your feet or putting my nose in your lap. I like to feel you close to me.
I am a big doodle that needs to eat more. Today at the vet, I weighed 65.8 pounds. I need to weigh over 70, maybe even 80 pounds. I am a picky eater but because of my past I have not been eating the best diet. My skin is dry and itchy. I sometimes have an odor from my skin imbalance. My hair is sparse in some areas. I need to be fed good nutritious foods, supplements, and the occasional lotion rub down would be nice too. My skin will heal just as my heart is starting to love again.
I am a very calm Dood. Not much gets me excited but I promise to greet you every time you come home. Excitement abounds my every fiber when you return to me.
What's that sound? What, you did not hear that? Well, I did. I will bark at every door bell, every door slamming and every noise that does not sound normal. I will protect you. I will make you my job 24/7.
I am a sleeper. When your head is weary and your body is stressed, you can lay down on me. I will be your blanket and your pillow. I will keep you warm and comfortable. I will sleep late and not disturb you at night. You can rest with me.
Car rides are a bonus. I love to go places with you. My bag is always packed. I will follow you blindly but Starbucks for a Puppy Latte is my favorite. I am the best wingman.
For now I will patiently wait for you, my family. Please hurry up and find out about me. I am ready to start loving you.
